SNI Technology is currently seeking a Quality Control Technician for a client in the Orlando market for three month contract to hire opportunity.
Description: The Quality Technician Role is part of our Production Team. This Orlando based role will oversee ensure the Quality Assurance and final assembly of units. The role is primarly on-site with occasional travel required. The ideal candidate will be an IT generalist and be mechanically inclined.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Support incoming quality inspections
• Support final assembly & test
• Shipping and configuring units for local markets
• Debug and test of hardware
• Logging and reporting of production quality
• Programming Units
• Dealing with Ticketing system queries
• Debug and fixing technical issues
• Rework and upgrade of Units
• Demo units - demo programming
• Programming SD Cards and Activating Sims cards
• Pack off and organising Shipments with shipping providers
• Generating and printing labels for units and Boxes
• Labelling the sharps bins and units
• Continuous Improvement of process and procedures
Qualifications/Skills:
• Knowledge of Electrical Engineering would be an advantage
• Competent in Microsoft office; including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Strong team player with high level of personal initiative; able to prioritise and manage issues simultaneously. Works closely with HealthBeacon Customer Care team.
• Great written and verbal communication skills
• Foster a culture of openness, compliance, innovation and best practice
• Experience with technical products would be an advantage
• Soldering experience would be an advantage
