Job Description

Working with an existing client partner in the Greater Hartford area. This organization is doing very well these days. They've hired over 40 people in 2019, opened a new office oversees to go along with the other 3 offices across the country.

Our Client is building out their Business Systems Team: They have the manager in place and are looking to hire their first resource to the group. (There are other people in the IT Department)

Some responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Gather requirements, document specifications and build reports using native capabilities within enterprise business applications
  • Develop custom reports in SSRS, PowerBI and other tools to address requirements which cannot be fulfilled in commercial applications
  • Develop proficiency in the administration of business systems to support user account management, configuration of security settings, data interfaces, GUI updates and automated workflow
  • Participate in the identification, evaluation and piloting of potential software and vendor service purchases
  • Monitor and troubleshoot automated processes for data and systems integration such as file delivery and ETL
  • Support the enhancement of intranet and SharePoint sites through application configuration and creative use of content editing and integration capabilities
  • Create systems documentation such as end user help guides, process flow diagrams and logical/technical depictions of systems architecture

Must have experience:

  • SQL Server, SQL, Queries, T-SQL, Stored Procedures
  • ETL, SSIS, Reporting, SSRS, Crystal, Dashboards, etc.
  • Basic Web programming knowledge is desirable
  • Financial service background is ideal as well
