Job Description

Position Summary:
Sales Operations Manager will monitor department-wide adherence to sales processes, produces reporting and analysis of sales data, including pipeline, performance metrics, trends, and forecasting. Also responsible for the maintenance and management of CRM data and supporting the Sales, Human Resources, and Executive teams with marketing and customer facing materials, such as PowerPoint presentations and pitch books. Sales Operations Manager will oversee the work of one Marketing Coordinator.
Role Functions:

  • Performance Analysis
    • Sales performance - define, track, and report actual performance against targets and metrics. Enhance key performance metrics, dashboards, and reports that enable management to track, measure, and drive performance improvement including sales force productivity
    • Pipeline analysis - track pipeline creation, velocity, and closure at individual salesperson, team, and regional levels
    • Forecast analysis - track and build insights into the predictability and consistency of forecasts across all regions
    • Opportunity analysis - tracking key deals against closure plans, providing trends and insight into successes and challenges
    • Account analysis - track performance of individual salespeople
  • Reporting
    • Create and distribute weekly regional reporting packs, including forecast, key deals, pipeline, and analysis for regional General Managers
    • Prepare drafts for each region to support quarterly business reviews (QBRs)
    • Track forecasting
    • Produce RFx receipt and response coordination and win/loss reports
    • Create ad hoc reports as requested
    • Continually enhance reports and process to provide better visibility of pipeline data and regional performance
  • Forecasting
    • Produce weekly validated regional forecast reports
    • Creation of weekly global consolidated KPI reports
    • Maintenance of documentation of process required to produce accurate forecasting results
  • Forecast Reviews
    • Create and distribute actuals, forecasts, and pipeline data reports before regional pipeline calls
    • Update pipeline report and supporting files as required following meetings
    • Work with all salespeople and management to resolve forecast/pipeline issues and to chase updates
    • Coordinate regional resources to obtain, validate and consolidate pipeline data to ensure accurate for forecast reviews and reports
  • Other:
    • Assist in development of marketing materials, such as PowerPoint presentations, PTI logo gear, pitch books, and trade show designs.
    • Oversight of marketing budget

Candidate will work in normal office environment. If necessary, job will require minimal evening and weekend work for emergency situations. Some travel may be required.

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in heavy reporting capacity and working with sales teams, driving pipeline management; bachelor's degree in related field or Finance required
  • Able to work successfully under short-term deadlines while maintaining accuracy
  • Be a driver in providing Sales with the information they require grow and develop successfully in a fast-changing marketplace
  • Able to conduct sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages and reports.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, Photoshop a plus
  • Experience with BI Platforms is a plus
  • Ability to successfully manage one (1) Marketing Coordinator; previous management experience preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of sales processes, pipeline management principles, and administration combined with sound knowledge of sales force automation / CRM tools; knowledge of Zoho a plus
  • Superior data analysis and modelling skills
  • Strong understanding of sales and internal business processes and market trends, preferably with experience working with global sales teams
  • Good interpersonal skills and comfortable working with salespeople and senior management
