Sr Systems Administrator

We’re seeking a seasoned Systems Administrator with at least 5 years of experience managing Microsoft-based infrastructure, Azure IaaS environments, and Microsoft 365 services. The ideal candidate will ensure the reliability, security, and performance of both on-premise and cloud-based systems, while supporting collaboration tools and enabling infrastructure automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Deploy and administer Azure IaaS services, including Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Azure AD, and Storage Accounts.
• Support and manage Microsoft 365 (O365) services such as Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and Intune.
• Monitor and optimize system performance; implement patches, updates, and automation scripts.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and cloud service issues across hybrid environments.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, backup and disaster recovery procedures.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated incidents and service requests.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in systems administration with Microsoft technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Azure IaaS (VMs, networking, storage) and core PaaS offerings.
• Proven experience managing O365 environments (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint).
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and infrastructure automation.
• Familiarity with backup, DR, and patch management tools.
• Strong understanding of identity access management and cloud security best practices.

Preferred Certifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Associate
• MCSA or MCSE (retired but still relevant experience-wise)
