Senior SharePoint Engineer Consultant
Remote | Project Based Contract | $55/hr.–$65/hr. or so (Negotiable)

SNI Technology is seeking a SharePoint Engineer Consultant to join our client’s team in a fully remote, project-based contract role. We are looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and highly experienced SharePoint professional to lead design, migration, and consulting efforts for enterprise-level clients.
Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, customization, and deployment of SharePoint solutions, including site collections, document libraries, workflows, web parts, and custom applications.
• Manage SharePoint upgrades and migrations (on-premises SharePoint ? SharePoint Online), including Tenant-to-Tenant migrations and leveraging tools such as Sharegate.
• Provide consulting expertise by gathering requirements, communicating technical solutions clearly, and delivering results aligned with client business needs.
• Assist clients in SharePoint Online migrations while ensuring data integrity and minimal business disruption.
• (Plus) Integrate SharePoint with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power BI for reporting and business intelligence.
• (Plus) Utilize Microsoft Fabric for data integration and processing.
• (Plus) Build solutions with Power BI, Power Automate Flows, and Power Apps to enhance automation and business workflows.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in SharePoint design and development, with expertise in SharePoint Online and SharePoint 2019.
• Proven experience with SharePoint upgrades and migrations (on-prem & online).
• Demonstrated experience with Tenant-to-Tenant migrations and migration tools such as Sharegate.
• Strong consulting and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Experience (a plus, not required):

• Power BI, Power Automate Flows, and Power Apps.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 integration with SharePoint.
• Microsoft Fabric for enhanced scalability and performance.
