Active Directory and Messaging Engineer
Active Directory & Messaging Engineer – Contract
? 100% Remote (must work CST or EST hours)
? 12-Month Contract
? Pay Rate: $50/hr- $55/hr (negotiable)
Must be a US Citizen or GC Holder. No C2C.
SNI Technology is hiring for an Active Directory & Messaging Engineer to support a leading enterprise organization. This role is focused on resolving a backlog of tickets within Active Directory and Messaging systems, ensuring timely resolution and top-tier customer service. You’ll be part of a collaborative infrastructure team, supporting end users and working closely with other messaging engineers to keep systems running smoothly.
Responsibilities:

Respond to and resolve user tickets related to Active Directory, Exchange Online, and Microsoft 365 services.

Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions in on-prem AD and Azure AD.

Provide support for email and messaging issues including mailbox access, shared mailboxes, and mail flow troubleshooting.

Troubleshoot identity and access management issues, including SSO and MFA.

Escalate complex issues to senior engineers with thorough documentation.

Maintain and update knowledge base articles and documentation.

Deliver a customer-first experience in every interaction (end-user surveys are a key success metric).
Required Skills:

Strong hands-on experience with Active Directory (on-prem & Azure AD).

Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint provisioning).

Familiarity with SSO technologies (SAML, OAuth, Azure AD SSO).

Strong troubleshooting skills in a ticket-based environment (ServiceNow experience preferred).

Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Skills:

Experience with hybrid AD environments.

PowerShell scripting for automation and bulk administration.

Knowledge of enterprise identity management and security best practices.
