Job Description

SNI Technology is representing one of our healthcare technology industry aligned clients in the Tampa Bay area in their search for a talented Web Content Developer for a 6 month contract with the possibility of another 6 month extension.

Overview:

  • Our client is looking for a resource to produce high-quality content and help with the optimization of their Knowledge Management platform. The ideal candidate will have experience in Information Architecture, Technical Content Writing, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and be comfortable collaborating within all business lines. You will contribute to the overall success of their products and brand. You will work within a highly talented team who works in unison with developers, quality engineers, product managers, and usability experts to help make their products exceptional! The majority of content will be internal / employee facing.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with Search Engine and Information Architecture Optimization efforts
  • Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements
  • Produce high-quality content that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
  • Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and developer guides
  • Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications
  • Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities
  • Create and maintain the information architecture

Requirements:

  • A degree in a relevant field is preferred but not required and 3+ years of equivalent work experience.
  • Well rounded understanding of HTML/CSS
  • Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail
  • Familiarity with analytical tools such as Google or Splunk
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
  • Excellent written skills in English
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development
