Job Description


Technical Account Manager direct hire position available in the San Francisco / San Jose, CA area.
Position Summary:

  • The Account Manager is responsible for Technical sales of all Company products within a geographic region or specific market segment to achieve Regional revenue and profit objectives.
  • We are looking for someone who has existing knowledge in the Automotive, Aerospace, and Defense sectors.
  • The ideal candidate would also have knowledge of the real-time market space.



Essential Duties:

  • Carry out sales activities in such a way as to attain sales volume objectives.
  • Utilize selling skills and product knowledge to proactively sell all Company products.
  • Manage assigned territory to ensure prospects are identified, cultivated, and sold.
  • Identify sales prospects, make sales calls, and develop proposals based on customer's requirements.
  • Identify potential customers outside of territory and refer them to other Account Managers, Sr. Account Managers, Director of Sales and the Corporate Headquarters.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and account reviews for assigned territory.
  • Prepare expense statements accurately and according to company policy on a timely basis.
  • Submit weekly reports to Vice-President US Sales, including prospect lists, projections for sales, competitive activity, territory activity, and other activity as requested.
  • Perform such other duties as assigned.


Education:

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering, or Computer Science or a combination of education and equivalent industry experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience that includes general product knowledge gained in a comparable industry related position. (IT or Engineering related technical sales position)


This position has a great base salary, commission, accelrators and annual bonus as well as an excelent benefit package. Commission subsidy available for the 1st 6 months up to $30K
