Technical Lead/System Administrator

SNI is currently recruiting for a Technical Lead/System Administrator for a local healthcare client in Duluth, GA. This will be a contract to hire opportunity.

Summary: Manages the day-to-day operations of our client's systems by monitoring system performance, configuration, maintenance and repair. Ensure that records of system downtime and equipment inventory are properly maintained

Role/Duties:
* Applies revisions to host system firmware and software
* Works with vendors to assist support activities
* Install new/rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, setting, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements
* Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly
* Interact with the help desk and other teams to assist in troubleshooting, identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed
* Perform routine/scheduled audits of the systems, including all backups
* Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures
* Apply OS patches and software updates on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities
* Configure/add new services as necessary
* Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning
* Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required
* Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required
