Great client of ours is looking for a Systems Analyst that offers great benefits with opportunities to advance and learn alongside accomplished business leaders.

Systems Analyst has a solid understanding of functional areas, management issues and data analysis. The incumbent is an excellent analytical thinker and problem solver with a broad knowledge and experience working with a variety of systems. Exceptional written and oral communication abilities are required. Leadership, initiative, advanced computer skills, project management, planning and coordination are integral. Ability to conceptualize complex business processes into component parts and create solutions using technology to meet organizational needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, conduct and direct the analysis of complex business issues to be solved with process changes, process improvements, and technology.
  • Strong knowledge of assigned processes, functional area, and business/health system.
  • Formulate and define objectives and scope of projects.
  • Translate requirements into solutions.
  • Gather data and analyze business and user needs in consultation with business managers, IT Staff, vendors, and end users.
  • Provide support for regulatory and compliance activities.
  • Author and maintain detailed systems documentation, including user and technical manuals.
  • Provide materials and conduct training sessions for end-user education.

Serve as a liaison between IT Staff, vendors, and end users to ensure technical compatibility and satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered if that combination will result in comparable knowledge and abilities.

Experience:

Must have three to five years of experience in all aspects of healthcare business systems' design, support and development; fully knowledgeable of the processes, procedures and systems of assigned functional/user area(s). Must have three to five years of experience in managing simultaneously, a number of medium size projects from onset through completion. Having previously working in a Life Plan Community environment is a plus worked with NetSmart/McKesson, PointClickCare and Meditech.
