Systems Administrator
Do you have a love for IT and a desire to bring order to chaos? We're looking for a sharp, motivated, and talented Systems Administrator to take on a broad spectrum of tasks - both an ever-growing set of back-end systems (things like physical and cloud-based servers, networking, off-site data center, enterprise storage), while also assisting in our end-user technology environment (things like laptops, telephony, mobile devices and more).

Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining core infrastructure components: servers, network devices, firewalls, and infrastructure software solutions.
  • Windows system engineering and administration 2008R2, 2012R2, 2016.
  • SQL and Microsoft Dynamics GP Administration.
  • Creating and maintaining detailed process documentation and change logs.


Secondary responsibilities of this role include: assisting the IT Director in desktop support and other tasks as assigned to support the needs of 7 business units.

Desired Skills/ Experience:

  • 1-3+ years of experience in Helpdesk or troubleshooting role.
  • 3+ years of Systems Administration Experience (preferably in an enterprise or MSP/ service provider environment).
  • Solid grasp of networking fundamentals, preferably including hands-on experience with load balancers, switches, routers, etc.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Windows.
  • Experience with Office 365 Enterprise/SharePoint.
  • Prior experience with VMware and/or other virtualization platforms.
  • Fundamental/academic programming capability in a high-level programming language such as Python, Java, C#, or other language.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with a scripting language such as PowerShell.
  • Work with third party vendors as needed to resolve customer & client problems.
  • Ability to learn and communicate technical information.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must deliver exceptional customer service every day.
  • Excellent at documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned.
