Job Description


Our client is seeing a Systems Administrator for an exciting contract opportunity.

DUTIES:

  • Provides support and systems administration for Microsoft Servers in a Hyper-V environment
  • Ensures that systems are patched and backed up to maintain continuity and consistency in the production environments
  • Provides 2nd and 3rd level support for hosted products; works with customers and vendors to schedule installation of patches/service packs.
  • Keeps system monitoring and inventory up to date to ensure that proper notifications occur in the event of an issue or outage
  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested.



REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years of overall Systems Administration experience
  • 5+ years of overall IT experience
  • 2+ years of working in a Hyper-V environment
  • Open to working Tier II and Tier III Level tickets
  • Strong communication/presentation skills
  • Deep knowledge of Windows Active Directory and Group Policy configuration
  • Professional certifications a plus
