Our client located downtown Chicago is looking for a Support Manager to join their growing team. This is a direct placement opportunity.


In this role you will be leading a team of support professionals in a mixed Linux and Windows environment. You and your team will be doing project based works as well as assisting customers with any issues that arise. You and your team will be troubleshooting issues related to Linux (RedHat, CentOS, Debian), LAN issues and Windows to name a few. As the Manager of the Linux/Windows Technical Support team you will be supporting the companies clients in their 24/7/365 environment.

To be successful in the role you should have experience with the following:
2+ years managing a Support team
Experience with Linux (RedHat, CentOS, Debian)
Windows server experience
Familiarity with MySQL
Scripting experience (Bash, Python, Perl) would be a plus
Virtualization (VMWare, XenServer, KVM) would be a plus
