Job Description


We are now hiring for a Field Superintendent for our Tenant Finish projects in the Denver Metro Area. Full benefits will be included after 90 days, and Salary is competitive based on experience. Please read the full job description below before applying.

The following duties below are a general overview of the various responsibilities for Superintendents:
Duties are not limited to these, but will serve as an outline of the core responsibilities needed to be a superintendent with our company.
* Efficiently manage project schedule from project start through completion.
* Effectively and regularly communicate with all customers and subcontractors regarding schedule. Alert Project Manager if schedule delay is likely.
* Have a thorough and complete knowledge and understanding of the project scope of work, each trades inclusions and exclusions, the contract drawings, specifications and addenda, etc.
* Examine the contract drawings, specifications and addenda for design deficiencies, impractical details and possible code violations, and to bring these to the attention of the Project Manager who will review them with the Architect.
* Assist the Project Manager in the development and refinement of the Project Schedule, and work with the Project Manager to keep the schedule(s) properly updated, and see that the job meets the various required dates.
* Ensure that all required permits have been obtained, and that a job board is onsite to post all permits, notices, etc.
* Provide Quality Control oversight of all work.
* Coordinate all inspections to meet project schedule. Communicate with subcontractors to correct any deficiencies noted during inspections.
* Maintain good relations and proactively communicate with all property managers, engineers, and tenants involved in the project.
* Must be able to read blue prints
* Must be able to lift 50 lbs
* Light Carpentry skills preferred
* Flexibility to work early/late/weekends as needed
* Perform job site clean-up and protection of finishes, common corridors, restrooms, lobby spaces, etc.
* Order doors, frames, hardware, appliances, etc.
* Schedule labor help as needed via Company calendar. Direct all laborers when needed to provide misc support such as: plastic protection, wood backing, site clean-up, subcontractor coordination, door/frame installation, and various misc handyman tasks.
* Keep all building security and/or engineers informed of deliveries and other scheduled events such as demo. Some instances will require building systems being altered during demolition or testing (i.e.fire alarm and fire protection)
* Coordinate roll-off placement and pick-ups with vendor.
