Job Description


SUMMARY:
The Sr. UX/UI Designer creates conversations for our AI chatbots and interactive voice response systems that are natural, conversational, creative, engaging, and authentic in a way that matches our brands voice and personality. The UX/UI designer analyzes business requirements, company services/products, production systems, other designs, reports, statistics, and information from usability or focus group studies, to provide interaction flows, VUI design, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and detailed design specifications for all conversational channels. This person works closely with product owners, product managers, business owners, developers, technical architects, UX/UI Solution designers, and other UX/UI designers.


The Sr. UX/UI Designer plays a key role as the subject matter expert in conversational channels and performs a liaison function between the business requesters and technical resources, ensuring that business goals are translated into specific requirements that can be delivered given available technology and timelines.


DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead Conversational User Interface and User Experience Design-45%
  • Business Analysis and User Experience Design-25%
  • Implementation Support-20%
  • User Experience Research-10%


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4 years of creating user-focused digital experience with a minimum of 2 years of experience in conversational channels designs including voice applications or multimodal speech interfaces, chatbots, RCS or in-home smart systems design.
  • BS / BA is acceptable with some research/ analytical work, conversational user interface / user experience knowledge
  • Experience with SQL and, prototyping and design tools: Axure RP Pro, Microsoft Visio, etc.
  • Knowledge of web service APIs (SOAP, REST, etc.)
  • Experience in persona designing/writing.
  • Technical knowledge of the fundamentals of conversation, e.g. Cooperative Principle, turn-taking, cognitive load, pragmatics, prosody.
  • Experience in Business/Systems analysis, documentation, and reengineering.
  • Successfully lead the implementation of significant initiatives throughout their complete lifecycle.
  • Ability to work in a team to achieve goals.
  • Ability to translate conceptual ideas into compelling customer experiences, flows, wireframes, and voice interaction design.
  • Creative design thinking, strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly and effectively
