SNI Technology's client located in Lakewood, CO is actively looking to hire a Senior Business Continuity Analyst on a full-time, direct-hire basis!

MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or other related field, and a minimum of 5 years of related experience (A combination of post-high school education, job related certification and related experience equivalent to 7 years, may be considered in lieu of a degree.)
  • Working knowledge of Business Continuity and Mass Communication platforms
  • Experience developing and implementing business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
  • Experienced in designing and implementing risk assessments and incident management exercises.

SUMMARY:
The Sr. Business Continuity Analyst is responsible for leading the initiative to develop, recommend, support and implement corporate wide efforts in all business continuity and disaster recover activities.

The individual will play a leading role in coordination during any disaster recovery effort and be responsible for the coordination plans with company stakeholders. The individual will also work closely with management and information technology teams to support the information security governance, risk and compliance program while also being a leading role in incident management and incident coordination.

The candidate must be well-rounded with proven business continuity management expertise along with strong communication and project management skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Advance the development of corporate business continuity plans
  • Coordinate, conduct, and document tests of company resiliency plans and back-up systems
  • Lead the development of and enhancements to the corporate business continuity strategy
  • Facilitate continuous process improvement events looking for gaps, gathering and analyzing metrics throughout the process, determining success factors, and identifying solutions
  • Identify threats to business operations, and present relevant information to management
  • Lead incident response efforts
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure preparedness is achieved
  • Assist in improving the organization's assessment of operational risk
  • Design and implement risk assessments
  • Have a strong understanding of dependencies for business processes, business functions, applications, technology, and internal / external parties related to the business
  • Lead company incident management exercises
  • Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours work as required by system implementations, outages or upgrades.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS OF POSITION:

  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree in related field and a minimum of 5 years of related experience. A combination of post-high school education, job related certification and related experience equivalent to 7 years may be considered in lieu of minimum requirements.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS OF POSITION:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences or other technical field is preferred
  • Certified Business Continuity Planner (CBCP)
  • Master Business Continuity Planner (MBCP)

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Working knowledge of Business Continuity and Mass Communication platforms
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Good computer skills including of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work with minimal guidance and direction
  • Previous IT experience is not required, training will be provided
