Senior Treasury Accountant

This position reports to the Manager of Accounting and is responsible for, but not limited to, day-to-day cash management, cash management, bank account management and compliance, corporate card programs, participating and/or leading process improvement initiatives, and judgments with regard to the application of accounting principles and policies.
This position will also be a key contributor refining various corporate treasury and accounting transformation aspects, with an emphasis on improving the monthly closing process, the monthly account reconciliation process, and the work streams supporting these activities. Additionally, position will focus on improving cash flow, driving efficiencies, and leveraging best practices across the company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for primary cash management activity, cash flow analysis and forecasting, creating and understanding treasury related accounting journal entries, and treasury financial reporting requirements for management.
  • Provides key support, assists and prepares cash management functions for operational liquidity (e.g. balances, cash positioning, payment transfers (ACH/WIRES), intercompany lending, line of credit activity, FX activity, documentation, investment activity, etc.)
  • Work with the disbursement departments (AP and Payroll) to support Wire transfers and tax payments processing, Netting processing and participant's maintenance, and issuing other forms of payments
  • Work with the Retail Accounting teams to support daily cash reconciliations and non-customer deposits.
  • Lead the bank account administration functions such as opening/ closing bank accounts, signatories updates, maintenance of global bank account database
  • Manages and controls multiple banking online portals and controlled access protocols for the company
  • Analyze and monitor bank and credit card fees, identify unusual activity and research to determine root causes
  • Develop Treasury procedures, identify opportunities for further process improvements and leverage technology to improve treasury processes
  • Work with cross-functional teams including but not limited to Tax, Legal, Accounting, and all areas of Finance to analyze and support Treasury-specific and broad corporate initiatives
  • Apply a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures related to CTP standards and internal controls
  • Support the monthly close process, including financial analysis and preparation of monthly reporting requirements for submission to consolidation team.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of bank account reconciliations.
  • Participate in the accounting cycles and meet stringent deadlines
  • Recommend changes in methods or procedures to improve the efficiency.
  • Proactively ensure controls and processes are maintained, while delivering timely, accurate, and high quality financial statements.
  • Solve problems while handling multiple assignments.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • 5+ years in Corporate Finance, Treasury, or Banking experience
  • 5+ years treasury and cash management experience
  • Advanced knowledge of cash management and treasury practices
  • The candidate should be comfortable dealing with complex treasury matters and demonstrate competency in banking, current accounting regulations, and internal controls.
  • The candidate must have strong communication (oral and written) and relationship building skills.
