Top Things Needed:

  • 10+ years of focused development experience (i.e. minimum 5+ years' C#.NET and 2-3 years' ASP.NET experience required).
  • Must possess strong leadership capabilities (i.e. at least 1-2 years minimum experience in a lead developer role)
  • Visual Studio 2013 .Net development experience required (Previous versions are acceptable)
  • WinForms development experience is a must-have requirement.
  • SQL Server 2014 (Previous versions are acceptable)

Senior Lead Microsoft .Net Developer

SNI Technology's client is seeking a full-time Senior Lead .NET developer with at least 10 years of overall IT experience to support their custom ERP system in a rapidly changing and growing business. Candidates must be a self-starter, fast learner and have the ability to think through complex problems and create robust designs. This position requires candidates to have strong leadership qualities, including prior work experience in a team lead or lead developer role. Our client's developers work in small teams and are involved in all stages of the Agile software development lifecycle. Our client is actively modernizing their ERP system and looking for individuals who can learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

Responsibilities for this position include the following:

  • Work within a small team of developers to build and support complex business applications
  • Investigate and prototype new technologies and designs
  • Lead the development of new applications and enhancements to existing applications
  • Perform analysis, design, coding, testing, training, and documentation
  • Lead and contribute to software designs
  • Develop specifications for junior developers
  • Provide estimates for work items in the backlog
  • Troubleshoot bugs and propose solutions.
  • Effectively communicate with technical and business areas.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience with the following technologies:

  • MVVM
  • Unity (or any DI/IOC experience)
  • Entity Framework
  • Task-based Asynchronous Pattern (TAP)
  • WinForm/GDI+
  • WPF/XAML
  • TFS Source Control
  • .Net 4.5 or newer
  • Visual Studio 15 or newer
  • N-tier business applications
  • C# (6 or newer preferred)
  • Agile Software Development processes
  • SQL Server and T-SQL
  • Telerik
  • Microsoft Fakes (or other Mocking experience such as MOQ) and Unit Test
  • OOP (Object Oriented Programming) Analysis and Design skills

Other qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Preferred degrees include Engineering, Computer Science, and Mathematics.
  • 10+ years of focused development experience, including 2+ years in a lead developer position.
  • Must be highly motivated, self-directed, and possess strong multitasking skills
  • Must have strong analytic, design, coding, testing, and documentation skills
  • Must be able to effectively communicate complex ideas verbally and written.
  • Experience working with ERP systems is desired
