Qualifications:
As Manager, PeopleSoft Systems, you will be responsible for developing and managing a team that is implementing and supporting purchasing, inventory, eProcurement, payables and other modules. A successful applicant will have demonstrated project management and team development skills while being able to maintain solid customer and vendor relationships. The person must be driven to improve processes and technology within the business as well as within the department. This position requires a broad spectrum of business system and technology experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain solid relationships with business leaders to ensure effective planning and scheduling of initiatives.
  • Manage a variety of cross-functional projects directly or through directing the work of others.
  • Plan, schedule, control and coordinate project work in alignment with project scope and timing requirements.
  • Develop implementation approaches and project plans.
  • Ensure department project and implementation methodologies are utilized.
  • Perform full range of managerial responsibilities which may include: interviewing, hiring, coaching, developing employees, planning, assigning and directing work, performance management and departmental budgeting.
  • Maintain awareness of IT standards and procedures and ensure team adherence.
  • Responsible for achieving group performance metrics and audit compliance.
  • Manage business system issues (ensure timely completion of problems and effective communication).
  • Implement/maintain a production support infrastructure.
  • Contract and manage specialists, technical team members or vendors to drive plans for efficiency and to solve problems.
  • Responsible for coordinating and supervising the daily activities of technical development team, and accountable for the application solution architecture and ensuring SDLC and environment configuration management processes are utilized.



QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7 to 10 years' experience of IT or related field experience managing customer or technology environment.
  • 5 to 7 years' experience with Oracle PeopleSoft Supply Chain applications.
  • Minimum of 3 year of experience managing people.
  • Minimum of 5 years of system implementation methodology experience
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in healthcare or similar work environment
  • Requires superior analytical thinking and creative problem solving, ability to define multiple approaches to business problems, and exposure to business process re-engineering.
  • Requires strong Project Management technical skills.
  • Must be able to use standard office equipment, and expertly skilled using PC equipment and software, including Microsoft Word/Excel/Access/ Project/Visio, and other database management and reporting software.
  • Must have proven leadership and people management skills, superior customer service skills and excellent written, communication, and presentation skills.


EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in information technology discipline or related field.

  • Broad understanding of best business practices, systems, and technology.
  • Large application project system experience
  • Proven ability and successful track record to work closely with key business stakeholders
  • Experience working in a large Corporate/Divisional model
  • Strong coaching, mentoring, and staff development skills
  • Capable of taking the lead role to analyze data and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Must possess change management skills and be strong in developing and articulating the case for change, including being able to speak in business terms.
  • Ability to understand and align IT architecture with business solutions.
  • Superior analytical problem-solving skills, analysis and design skills, communication and documentation skills.
  • Superior organizational skills with special attention to details.
  • Must be able to work independently with a clear understanding of the boundaries of the role, both with the Business and with other IT functions.
  • Demonstrable proficiency in simultaneously managing multiple priorities and assignments, and ability to succeed in a complex and dynamic work environment.
  • Demonstrate proficiency to maintain expert knowledge about the system through participation in vendor classes, vendor client conferences, and working with vendor support.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in maintaining operational procedures to ensure data integrity and maximum system availability.



WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Normal office environment. Must be flexible and able to work any hours as requested with some overtime. Must report to work in proper attire. Must provide own transportation, may be required to travel between hospital campuses and offsite.
