Project Manager/Scrum Master
Location: Orlando, FL

As Project Manager/Scrum Master you will work closely with teams of content producers, developers, Product Owners, and client stakeholders to resolve conflicts and remove barriers, ensuring deliverables are on-time and meet quality standards. The Scrum Master will estimate level of effort, plan sprint backlogs, facilitate daily scrums, and conduct sprint demos, as well as support the Product Owner in refining and grooming the product backlog, maintaining an understanding of technical and functional requirements to ensure gaps are identified and addressed.


  • Manage work flows leveraging Agile processes, and partner with clients, Product Owners, and project teams to ensure on-time, and on-budget, quality delivery
  • Work alongside Product Owners to refine and groom the product backlog, forecast sprint iterations, and resolve team/stakeholder conflicts
  • Facilitate scrums, and conduct sprint reviews and retrospectives
  • Track and communicate progress through backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, project status
  • Drive continual improvement and innovation in the platform and application development process
  • Be responsible as coordinator of resolutions to ensure that the team can deliver with minimal blockers and meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction expectations
  • Establishing project team processes ensuring quality control throughout product creation and delivery life cycles are central to this position
  • Work with project sponsor, stakeholders, and supporting team scrum masters to complete project charter outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, and project schedule
  • Complete work breakdown structure to estimate effort required for each task
  • Lead, coach, and motivate agile team members on a proactive basis
  • Facilitate appropriate communication methods and tracking tools to ensure identification and management of risks, mitigation strategies, plan activities, dependencies, impacts, escalation channels, financial budget and detailed project documentation
  • Responsible for overseeing and consolidating overall project status reporting to business unit executive

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of Agile project management or scrum master experience
  • Extensive experience leading small teams in an Agile environment, identifying and converting requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria, and effectively communicating between project teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders
  • Intimate knowledge and understanding of Agile and Scrum, with proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach
  • Experience implementing best Agile practices and standards, and mentoring/teaching junior practitioners
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in leading and managing multiple cross team projects
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Experience with relative estimation, retrospective, and agile release planning techniques

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in content creation, online product creation, or learning management systems desired
  • Scrum Master certification (e.g. CSM, PSM, and SSM) is preferred
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Trello, etc.)
  • Experience leading Agile software development and/or Educational Content development, a plus.
