Job Description


Local company is seeking a Permit Coordinator. We are looking for a person who has permit knowledge and has strong customer service skills. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Creates and maintains a permit tracking system
2. Manages the permitting process from start to finish ensuring that everything is handled in the fastest possible time frame.
3. Must be customer service oriented. This position requires daily communication with co-workers and City Officials.
4. Fills out and sends all required documents to customer if job requires a permit.
5. Request all necessary inspections from permitting municipality.
6. Assists with handling administrative duties and other duties as assigned.


Minimum requirements:

  • Able to multi-task work in a fast pace environment.
  • Able to work M-F 8 to 5 (and on occasion later if needed)
  • Previous experience in permitting
  • Excellent written and verbal skills. Must have excellent organizational and follow through skills
  • Ability to assist in the organizing of necessary resources, including people, equipment and time to meet tight deadlines
