Position Overview
As part of the Product Operations team the Manager will provide general supervision and business-level guidance to Medicare and Medicaid Policy Analysts as they perform Government research, build software requirements and acceptance test all pertinent development changes. This position is responsible for assuring the timely delivery of regulatory Business Requirements, user acceptance testing, personnel management, workflow, utilization management and collaboration between the other departments within the Product Operations team (e.g., Software Development, Quality Assurance, Data and Product Delivery).
What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years management experience
  • 5+ years' experience in a health care or regulatory environment
  • 5+ years' experience working in a software development environment
  • 5+ years SDLC experience (Analysis, Design, Implementation, Testing, and Evaluation)
  • Familiarity with Medicare reimbursement methodologies, including DRG, APC, and RBRVS
  • Proven ability to contribute to multiple releases of software per quarter.
  • Proven ability to engage with internal stakeholders on subject matter related to Medicare data.
  • Expert level understanding of how the client base utilizes the software.
  • Proficient at quality checking
  • Desired, but not mandatory: experience with Medicare payment policy and related healthcare legislation.
