Job Description


Our high-tech product company seeks a Systems/Network Administrator II that will play a critical role in our transformation, requiring near-term strategic implementation skills, and post-implementation systems administration skills. Working closely with the Director of IT, IT consultants and vendors, this position will contribute to the implementation of business systems, infrastructure and operations to establish the IT environment required for the independent operations of a business unit being separated from its parent company. Following implementation, this role will provide daily IT operations support, maintenance, and work with partners providing cloud-based, SaaS applications and outsourced IT services.

  • Contributes to the implementation of multiple business systems (ERP, CRM, PLM)
  • Contributes to the implementation of multiple infrastructure projects (Network, Telecommunications)
  • Contributes to the implementation of IT operations (Service Desk, Network Security, Back-Up / DR)
  • Coordinates/executes employee onboarding, offboarding, and change requests
  • Maintains and organizes an accurate and efficiently staged inventory of IT computing hardware, software/licensing, and computing peripherals
  • Provides hardware support on workstations, monitors, and peripherals such as monitors, keyboards, mice, and other miscellaneous devices
  • Configures, installs, and tests software upgrades and resolves technical problems from tier 1 through tier 3
  • Provides application support for all enterprise applications, including Dynamics ERP & CRM and Office 365
  • Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring
  • Maintains and supports the integrity of the operating system environment and various computer systems.



Qualifications Summary

  • Over 5 years of proven work experience in IT
  • Possess strong organizational skills and strong interpersonal skills to effectively relate to our customer's needs
  • Ability to effectively communicate by phone or in person and handle difficult situations
  • End user/deskside support experience
  • Administrative experience with multiple of the following technologies:
  • Dynamics ERP/CRM
  • Office 365
  • Exchange Server
  • Teams
  • SharePoint
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Active Directory
  • Identity Management
