Microsoft .NET Senior Software Engineer - Consultant

SNI Technology's client is seeking a .NET consultant with at least 7 years of experience to enhance and maintain their existing Supply Chain Management system (SCM) for their rapidly changing and growing business. Our client is specifically looking for a consultant for a 6 to 12 month engagement.

This consultant must be a self-starter, fast-learner, and have the ability to think through complex problems and create robust designs. Consultant must be able to effectively communicate complex ideas verbally and in writing with both technical and business areas.

Responsibilities for this position include the following:

  • Develop enhancements make fixes to existing applications
  • Perform analysis, design, coding, testing, training, and documentation
  • Organize and lead small projects to successful on time implementations

Some of the expected tasks for the Microsoft .NET Senior Software Engineer - Consultant include:

  • Make enhancements and fixes to the current windows application, including highly technical and structural changes
  • Help improve our version control and automated build processes.
  • Assist with porting of our windows application to our web based application architecture
  • Porting VB applications to C#

Candidate must-have significant experience with the following technologies:

  • WinForms
  • TFS Source Control
  • .Net 4.5 or newer
  • Visual Studio
  • C#/VB.Net
  • SQL Server
  • SQL Server stored procedures
  • Software development methodologies including Agile/Scrum

Other technical skills that will be helpful include the following:

  • Experience working with SCM systems
  • WPF
  • Telerik

The position is located in our client's Denver corporate office and is not a remote position.
