SNI Technology’s client located in Colorado Springs, CO, is seeking to hire a talented IT Technician II for an exciting, full-time, 3-month contract-to-hire position. Please note this is a fully onsite position and work from home/remote work options will not be provided. Travel locally is also required. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license.

The Technician II role is critical to the ongoing business of technology operations and client service. This role requires a high level of analytics, problem-solving, and exceptional customer service of applications on PCs. Provide computer support to system users and guests.

Compensation Range
The compensation for this position is $29 to $34 per hour during the 3-month contract duration of the assignment with a starting salary in the range of $60K to $70K annually upon conversion to permanent employment status. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Acts as an advocate for the organization and embodies our Mission Statement – “We care for people by empowering their business through technology”.
- Maintains a professional attitude and works with integrity and responsibility.
- Prioritizes relationships and uses good judgement to do what is right for the organization and our clients.
- Demonstrates excellent client service with clear and timely communication.
- Triages and resolves support tickets using ticketing system with minimal escalation.
- Troubleshoots workstations, servers, peripherals, and network appliances at an intermediate level.
- Finds ways to improve technical processes and procedures.
- Utilizes remote management tools to resolve so-ware and hardware related issues.
- Provides interdepartmental support and collaborates with external vendors.
- Produces clear and detailed documentation in knowledge base and ticketing system.
- Engages in continuous education to advance professional and technical knowledge.
- Works efficiently on independent and collaborative team tasks.
- Demonstrates high emotional intelligence by instilling confidence in all client interactions.
- Other duties as required.
Job Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science (or related discipline) and CSSA, CISSP, Network+, O365, and Security+ certifications are preferred. Experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
- Three years of experience providing technology-related support is required.
- Intermediate understanding and experience with network infrastructure and appliances, network domains and remote access, network operations and maintenance, and current desktop and server operating systems is required.
