Job Description


Our client is seeking a Support Sales Representative (Renewals Rep) for an exciting contract to hire opportunity. The Support Sales Representative (SSR) is responsible for selling, renewing and expanding software maintenance and subscription contracts. The SSR will work directly with customers and resellers to maximize customer retention and maintenance and subscription revenue for a defined sales territory. The SSR will work closely with the account team, customer success managers and customer support to protect and grow company revenue and facilitate customer success.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

  • Work with Renewals Account Manager (RAM) to successfully close all assigned renewal opportunities
  • Engage customers and partners on low-end renewals sales opportunities to validate pricing, terms, customer contacts and renewal commitment date
  • Maintain a weekly average of calls and emails that will be set by the Manager of Renewal
  • Provide timely updates to the RAM and other account stakeholders
  • Ensure integrity of customer and renewal data and track phone calls and emails in Salesforce.com
  • Provide weekly forecast and updates on portfolio
  • Clear ability to multi-task, learn and master contact management in Salesforce.com



REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Telemarketing, inside sales, renewals or lead generation experience
  • Strong interpersonal, written, phone and verbal skills
  • Knowledge or experience using Salesforce and customer contact database
  • Highly ambitious and self-starter with strong work ethic
  • Proven time management skills in a dynamic sales environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively as a team
