Job Description


he IT Technician/Helpdesk hands-on position, to support hardware, software, business applications, and computer tools to increase efficiency via technological solutions. Responsible for giving day-to-day technical support over the phone, remote and on location using excellent communication, customer service, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Position Responsibilities:

  • Respond to phone calls/emails regarding applications, hardware, software, smartphones and networking issues, diagnose and troubleshoot
  • Deploy, maintain, and/or monitor onsite and offsite LANs, servers, user desktops, and software.
  • Provide desktop/laptop support to end users; hardware repair/replacement and software support and solutions.
  • End-user training and software implementation and solutions
  • Perform other related duties as assigned. Standard Hardware/Software and Services

  • Hardware/Software Installation, Updates, and Upgrades
  • Hardware/Software Inventory
  • Telephone Systems and Cell Phones

Position Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on rapport-building, listening and questioning
  • Reliable transportation to travel to offsite locations in South Florida tri-county locations (Miami-Dade, Broward, and West Palm).
  • Extensive application support experience with MS Office suite and other productivity tools
  • Basic experience as a MCP, A+, or Network+
  • Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
  • Highly self-motivated and directed
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure, ever-changing environment
  • Exceptional customer service orientation.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Must be reliable and dependable - proven attendance/punctuality; consistent performance; effective follow-up and follow-through
  • Must have an ability to work with and meet deadlines
  • Must have good Windows desktop skills in Windows 10
  • Basic experience with switches, firewalls, and routers
