Job Description

One of our clients is looking for an IT Desktop Support Specialist to join their team. You would be responsible for end user support of their global workforce. This position is pivotal in leading IT helpdesk support specialists in providing premium support for voice/data network systems and managing the helpdesk queue.
**This is currently a contract position.
Basic Job Responsibilities -

  • Deploying new laptops and workstations
  • Server administration and maintenance
  • Providing internal technical support
  • Configuring/troubleshooting email clients (both desktop and mobile)
  • Assist in the administration of systems and servers to ensure availability of services to authorized users
  • Consult with senior IT management and business unit on regular basis to ensure the technology needs are met
  • Provide 24/7 on-call support as needed, including nights or weekend work as required

Qualifications -

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience required
  • Mac OS X and Windows
  • Knowledge of network performance, hardware and software required
  • Ease of troubleshooting issues with applications and computers face to face with users
