SNI Technology's client located in Denver, CO is actively looking to hire an Information Security Analyst for a direct-hire opportunity!
As the Information Security Analyst you will be responsible for assessing, monitoring, and managing systems, network, and organization to ensure the company's posture is complete relative to its Information Security goals. You will be expected to determine where vulnerabilities exist and work with the respective department and individuals to plan and execute remediation to address those vulnerabilities in a timely manner. This role works closely with other departments to complete customer and prospect security inquiries and questionnaires in a timely manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Install and use software, such as firewalls and date encryption programs to protect sensitive information
  • Monitor the organization's systems, networks, and organizational processes for InfoSec readiness, security vulnerabilities, breaches, and investigates security events when they occur.
  • Prepare reports that document security readiness and makes recommendations to enhance security posture, policies, procedures, and road map.
  • Establish data classifications for both internal and customer information
  • Conduct penetration testing in accordance with the company's security plan.
  • Research the latest security trends and makes recommendations to management.
  • Create and conducts Security Awareness Training for all employees in accordance with security policies.
  • Develop and maintain security standards, policies, and best practices.
  • Assist departments in all aspects of Information Security processes, software, and policies.
  • Work with customers as requested to guarantee the security and privacy of customer and data, information, and intellectual property.
  • Provide guidance to Systems, Networking, Desktop, Software Engineering and business department in matters relating to Information Security.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related field
  • Experience with IDS/IPS, penetration and vulnerability testing
  • Experience with DLP, anti-virus and anti-malware
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, computer networking, routing and switching
  • Knowledge of firewall and intrusion detection/prevention protocols
  • Experience in Windows, Unix and Linux operation systems
  • Knowledge of network protocols and packet analysis tools
  • C, C++, C#, Java or PHP language skills a plus
  • Knowledge and experience in Cloud Computing environments
  • Understanding of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
  • Demonstrated ability to create, orchestrate, and deliver InfoSec policies, programs, and training within a large corporate ecosystem
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Demonstrated team player with ability to work at all levels in a large organization
  • Capacity and ability to meet critical deadlines and work in a high-demand environment
