SNI Technology's client located in Westminster, CO is immediately seeking to hire a Help Desk Specialist on a full-time, permanent basis.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Help Desk Specialist is responsible for maintaining, configuring, installing, and troubleshooting company owned hardware and software systems. Provides IT related customer service and technical support to all users company-wide.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Troubleshoots computer hardware that will include the installation, repair, and upgrade of PC's and network hardware within the organization. Including but not limited to printers, phones, and other forms of electronic communication.
  • Troubleshoots software; installation, repair, and upgrade of software within the organization including but not limited to software applications and business suites, operating systems, drivers, and utilities
  • Responds to assigned Help Desk tickets in a timely manner
  • Educate end user when repairing their PC's
  • Participates in the on-call rotation

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates degree/completion of 2 years schooling in Computer Science or other related area, or equivalent job-related experience preferred

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:

  • VMware and virtualized environments
  • PC hardware, network printers, and phone systems
  • Microsoft desktop operating systems, Microsoft desktop to network connection, and Microsoft Office products
  • KACE Helpdesk

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • 2 years' experience in PC software and hardware support preferred
