SNI Technology is working with a company in the IT field to find a Desktop Support Technician with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical users in an understandable and concise format. If you are a problem solver who enjoys working in a challenging and positive environment, this may be the Desktop Support Technician position for you. This Desktop Support Analyst position, which is a long term temporary opportunity, is located in the Orlando, Florida, area.

What you get to do every day

  • Organize hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with ticket submitter
  • Rectify computer problems, and suggest appropriate action/solutions
  • Offer computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Offer support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems
  • Create records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities
  • Maintain, analyze, and fix computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals - 2+ years of desktop support or other related experience
  • Experience writing procedure manuals, user instructions, business correspondence, and general report writing
