  • Collaborate product owners and analyze usage trends and case studies in order to provide the highest quality customer experience.
  • Write high quality code with readability, efficiency and maintainability in mind (documentation and unit tests)
  • Code review the work of other developers in paired programming environment
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
  • Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
  • Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
  • Actively participate in our scrum meetings work with the team to diagnose and resolve bugs and support requests.
  • Implementation of restful services for product selector Mentor junior developer

Skills And Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of real-world front end development experience
  • Well rounded understanding of React and/or Angular required
  • Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS
  • Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
  • Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
  • Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
  • Experience with RESTful APIs
  • Experience with web application frameworks such as Composer, and Bootstrap, Webpack, NPM
  • Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.
  • Exposure to, or experience with, any of the following: Node.js, Amazon Web Services, basic Linux tasks
  • Good interpersonal and technical communication skills
  • Exposure to backend ORM/ODM systems such as Doctrine and Propel
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
  • Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.
