Job Description

We are looking for a Drupal Developer to join our Team, developing a new Drupal 8 application, to improve our registration process. This position will primarily be helping develop and implement new Drupal modules. As a module developer, you will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of custom modules, as well as teaching our Team how to best use those modules.
Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Design and implement new Drupal features and functionality in support of the project
  • Establish and guide the web application's architecture/structure, based on best practices
  • Configure and maintain Drupal instances; to include all custom created module(s)
  • Write and review PHP code, using best practices
  • Write unit tests to help keep code clean
  • Document technical implementations, clearly and concisely
  • Work closely with the team to ensure effective implementation of the module
  • Commit patches and custom modules to


  • Has at least 2 years of Drupal experience, preferably Drupal 8
  • Has at least 2 years of PHP experience
  • Has experience building user interfaces for website and/or web applications
  • Has experience developing web solutions in Drupal and PHP implementations
  • Can quickly pick up new technologies and apply them efficiently
  • Builds strong relationships with internal and external team members; a natural collaborator
  • Has excellent communication skills; both written and oral
  • Has knowledge and experience with Agile and TDD methodologies
  • Has experience using version control systems, such as Git

Preferred Skills:

  • Has experience building eCommerce web-based applications
  • Has experience with front-end development in Drupal, Twigs & Theming
  • Takes initiative and seeks out new technology to improve the system
  • Is an active member of the Drupal community
  • Has strong HTML / CSS / JS skills
  • Has experience developing in a LAMP environment
  • Has experience with Docker or similar virtualization technologies
  • Has experience with Cloud technologies and scalability


  • Possibility for up to two (2) days telecommuting per week
  • 37.5 hour full time work week
