Job Description

Our client is seeking a Data Center Customer Support Specialist for a contract to hire opportunity. The Data Center Support Specialist will be an active member of the Client Service team responsible for building and conducting training programs and providing exemplary customer service and help support. The qualified professional will become a data expert and learn data functionality.


  • Manage and respond to incoming support requests from our client's employees and Data Center clients, ensuring support requests are addressed appropriately and to client standards, and tracking requests and solutions in the client's online help service tools.
  • Responsible for monthly client on-boarding and implementation process, measuring effectiveness to identify opportunities for improvements and efficiencies.
  • Develop and lead training programs; test and measure the effectiveness of training programs and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of client Data Center and the respective training materials. Assist in designing and developing new training tools that include:
  • Written: user manuals, step-by-step walk-through
  • Online Live Training: group and 1-on-1 training
  • Recorded audio/visual sessions
  • Identify and service cross sell and up-sell opportunities, and other sales prospects as assigned.
  • Collaborate with client IT team to identify and resolve client software issues and participate in new software development, coordinating new product roll outs and functionality testing.
  • Understanding of and willingness to uphold the client brand methodology, strategic perspective, and high client service standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • BA degree in marketing, business, or related field required.
  • Excellent customer service skills: 2+ years' experience working directly with customers in a Customer Service role.
  • Experience delivering web-based training for clients or employees, clearly conveying learning objectives and evaluating learning outcomes.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Mastery of MS Office and a high degree of comfort with technology and systems.
  • Demonstrated organization skills and collaborative work ethic


  • Experience working with a CRM or ticketing system.
  • Knowledge of adult learning theory, curriculum development, and Universal Design Principals.
  • Technical writing skills.
  • Experience with Screen Recording and Video Editing Software (Captivate, Adobe Premier Pro)
