Job Description


SNI Companies is seeking an experienced bookkeeper to manage the books. This position is ideal for someone seeking to gain a more complete understanding of how to read and manage financial data.


The ideal candidate should exhibit the following attributes:

  • Strong desire for or understanding of bookkeeping
  • Self-starter with limited supervision
  • Fast learner of software
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Full understanding of the accounting cycle and process
  • Knowledge of how accounting systems operate
  • Solutions oriented to resolve challenges that arise

  • Managing payroll weekly
  • Excel knowledge and functionality


Duties and responsibilities

  • Manage books (i.e., AP, AR, payroll, reconciliations, etc)
  • Review, update, and prepare financial reports
  • Communicate effectively (verbal and written) with team and clients
  • Assist in other areas as needed


Experience

  • 1-3 yrs. working with small business books including AP and AR
  • Microsoft Office (required) and Google (preferred) Office products
  • QuickBooks
  • Experience with paycheck/payroll/expenses
