Job Title: Accounting Manager – Engineering/Architecture Industry

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our finance team within the dynamic engineering and architecture industry. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in accounting management, with a strong background in job costing and project costing. This role requires a strategic thinker who can provide financial insights to support project planning and performance, while also managing day-to-day accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee general accounting functions including AP, AR, payroll, and month-end close.

• Lead and mentor the accounting team to ensure high performance and professional development.

• Implement and maintain effective job and project costing systems.

• Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

• Prepare financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Minimum of 7 years in an accounting management role.

• Proven expertise in job and project costing, ideally within the engineering or architecture sector.

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems.
