Senior Network Engineer

SNI Technology’s top client is seeking to hire a talented Sr Network Engineer for an exciting full-time, permanent opportunity!  This is a hybrid schedule (2 days onsite/week) position in McLean, VA

This position is not open to C2C or non-US permanent residents.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Sr Network Engineer
The Network Engineer plays a key role in setting up, maintaining, and managing our client’s on-premises infrastructure, contributing to the implementation and upkeep of the operational networks that deliver data to customers.

TECHNICAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES

• Over 5 years of relevant experience in network engineering within enterprise environments, including data centers, main and remote office terrestrial network connectivity, and satellite networks.
• Experience with Cisco, Meraki and/or Juniper OS.
• Hands-on experience with IP network operations, including network switching and routing (OSI Layers 2 and 3).
• Proficient in network routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP.
• Skilled in IPv4 network subnet addressing.
• Experience provisioning and maintaining network connections across various physical and IP layers, including MPLS, EPL, point-to-point, and public internet.
• Expertise in network segmentation using IP subnets, VLANs, and DMZ configurations.
• Networking certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or equivalent
• Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience

COMPENSATION & BENEFIT6
The compensation for this position is in the range of $130k-$160k annually + other perks and great benefits for this direct-hire opportunity.
