PSI/BAS Program Support Specialist

SNI Technology’s client located in Windsor, CO, is immediately seeking to hire a Program Support Specialist for an exciting, 6-month contract opportunity. This part-time position is a M-F, 20 hours per week onsite position paying $25.29 hourly during the contract duration of the assignment.

PSI/BAS Program Support Specialist

Job Summary

Manages daily operations related to the BAS program, which may include, but is not limited to, record development and maintenance, scheduling of people, along with overseeing and executing operational budget that is ultimately approved by the Director of Public Safety Institute.  They will work directly with new BAS students to ensure that they understand and can complete all the necessary processes to enter into the program. They will establish effective communication with students, faculty, and advisory committee concerning update and/or changes to the program.

This position will establish and/or maintain collaborative and/or supportive relationships with both internal and external customers providing advice and/or recommendations pertinent to the BAS program. Work directly with the Director of Public Safety Institute to market and recruit new students to the program. Researches problems and provides operational resolutions; collects information from various sources and determines appropriateness of information to the problem. Decisions focus on operations of BAS program and involve deciding from various options to determine how best to complete a process/task.  Data needed to make decisions are numerous and variable so reasoning is needed to develop a practical course of action.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, plus three (3) years of experience in developing, coordinating, implementing, and assessing aspects of educational programs or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience working with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and sustain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform in a professional manner, demonstrating good customer service skills.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • 50% of total time – Support recruiting students to the Bachelor’s Degree in Public Safety. Work with MarCom to help create a robust marketing plan for the BAS program (online and in-person). Ensure all marketing materials are up to date, including website, course offerings, onsite training, and community outreach.
  • Support marketing for the Bachelor’s Degree in Public Safety
  • 25% of total time – Support students through the application process for the Bachelor’s Degree in Public Safety. Ensure students are meeting the minimum qualifications for the program.
  • Track students’ applications process, make sure they complete all the necessary applications
  • Follow-up with students that have started the process.
  • Communicating with Register’s Office and Advising about new students.
  • Create electronic records for each student. Run necessary reports for the program.
  • 25% of total time – Create administrator’s handbook for Bachelor’s Degree in Public Safety.
  • Review processes to streamline the onboarding process.
  • Create desktop manual for PSI.
  • Update All PSI web pages on website.
  • Update all marketing material. Pay Rate
    The pay rate for this position is $25.29 per hour during the contractual period of the assignment.
