Network Engineer- Juniper

We're seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join a fast-paced infrastructure team supporting a national enterprise network. This individual will play a critical role in maintaining, optimizing, and securing the network infrastructure—focusing on Juniper routing/switching and Fortinet security appliances.

Responsibilities:

• Configure, deploy, and manage Juniper EX/QFX switches and SRX firewalls.
• Implement and troubleshoot Fortinet FortiGate firewalls, VPNs, and UTM policies.
• Monitor network performance, latency, and availability using tools like SolarWinds or PRTG.
• Collaborate with security and cloud teams to ensure secure, scalable infrastructure.
• Document topologies, configuration standards, and operational procedures.
• Provide tier 2/3 support for escalated network issues.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of hands-on network engineering experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong experience with Juniper routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Proficiency with Fortinet FortiGate, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer.
• Knowledge of network protocols: BGP, OSPF, MPLS, IPsec, VLANs, NAT.
• Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible, Python scripting) is a plus.
• Relevant certifications (JNCIA, JNCIS, NSE4 or above) strongly preferred.
