.NET Developer

SNI Technology Dallas, TX (Onsite) Full-Time

We are looking for a highly skilled .NET C# Developer with a deep understanding of software used in the engineering and planning sectors. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team where you will contribute to the development of custom solutions aimed at improving efficiencies across various domains, including transportation, site design, energy, healthcare, and other engineering disciplines. You will play a critical role in creating tools that deliver quality, streamline processes, and provide analytics for multiple projects.

This is a full-time, in-office position (not remote or hybrid).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver software solutions based on user and business needs.
  • Design, develop, and maintain custom applications using .NET C# tailored for civil design and related engineering sectors.
  • Continuously improve existing software systems for better functionality and user experience.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software issues promptly, applying necessary fixes to ensure optimal performance.
  • Apply Agile practices to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of software projects.
  • Keep up to date with emerging development trends and tools to maintain innovation in software solutions.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in software development, particularly with C# and .NET.
  • Expertise in desktop programming and use of development tools like Visual Studio and Azure DevOps.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Proven success in developing software solutions that enhance project efficiency, particularly in engineering-related fields.
  • Willingness and ability to quickly learn new concepts in civil engineering.
  • Experience with civil engineering tools such as Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, and ESRI ArcGIS is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with database systems like SQL Server and Oracle is a bonus.
  • Experience in web development, particularly with Python and JavaScript, is a plus.
