Oracle DBA Consultant

SNI Technology is recruiting for a senior, reliable, trustworthy and experienced Oracle DBA / Systems Administrator Consultant.  This is a fully remote, part-time, short term contract role, targeting around $65/hr.-$95/hr. or so (negotiable and based on background/experience).

Must be a US Citizen.

We are seeking a skilled Oracle DBA / Systems Administrator to assist with a short-term infrastructure setup and support engagement. This role involves preparing a staging environment to support a database migration project.
Project Scope:

• Set up a Linux virtual machine (VM) in AWS
• Install and configure Oracle Database 19c
• Provide DBA support for the staging environment until cutover
• No data conversion required — our responsibility ends before the final migration to a PostgreSQL SaaS platform

• Proven experience with Oracle 19c installation and configuration
• Strong Linux system administration skills (VM setup and configuration)
• Experience working in AWS environments, ideally EC2-based
• Ability to provide reliable and responsive interim DBA support
