SNI Technology’s client is immediately seeking to hire six (6) temporary Student Mentors for an exciting short-term STEM project located in Greeley, CO. This temp assignment is estimated to start on 5/19/25 with an estimated end date of 6/12/25. The total hours expected for this project is 40 hours. Please note this is an onsite position. No remote work opportunities will be available.

Job Summary
Act as a mentor to teams of four to six high school students during a STEM-based event to be held by Industrial Technologies from 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. between June 9th through June 12th, 2025, on the Greeley campus.
Specific activities include:
The pay rate for this position is $19.26 per hour during the contractual period of the assignment.
STEM Student Mentors
Job Summary
Act as a mentor to teams of four to six high school students during a STEM-based event to be held by Industrial Technologies from 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. between June 9th through June 12th, 2025, on the Greeley campus.
Specific activities include:
- Attend an initial orientation meeting the week of June 2nd in person or via Zoom.
- Complete the necessary training for Authorized Adults, as defined by our MINORS IN COLLEGE PROGRAMS PROGRAM, between May 19th and May 30th, 2025.
- Complete the Code of Conduct and Best Practices Acknowledgment Form and submit it to Program Coordinator before May 30th, 2025.
- Actively support the student team’s efforts to complete tasks assigned to them. This can include answering technical questions, instilling confidence in their efforts, and providing encouragement if they encounter difficulties.
- Ensure that teams keep to their schedule and arrive at different events on time.
- Answer technical questions from the teams to assist them in completing various tasks related to engineering, science, and technology.
- Act as a Guide for the teams as they navigate around the Greeley campus completing their event tasks.
- Ensure that all team members are able to, and do, actively participate in the event.
- Provide feedback to the event coordinator at the end of each day on the progress of their teams.
- High School Diploma
- 1 year of education/certification and/or experience related to STEM
- Or a combination of education and/or work experience
- Associate degree in a STEM related field
The pay rate for this position is $19.26 per hour during the contractual period of the assignment.
