Dir of IT Infrastructure-Onsite-Miami

SNI Technologies is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable full-time Director of Information Technology who will be responsible for ensuring that the technology infrastructure effectively support our innovative organization and daily operations.

The Director, reporting to the Chief Information Officer, will collaborate with the leadership team, and staff to further develop and manage the technology roadmap for short and long term improvements to the organizations technology plan, incorporating innovative technologies
The Director will possess in-depth technical expertise and provide strategic leadership, planning, and management to all areas of information technology and work collaboratively with leadership to develop effective strategies for integrating technology.
 Responsibilities:

• Lead the IT Infrastructure team
  
• Oversee the implementation, provisioning and maintenance of all technology infrastructure and systems and services including servers, wired and wireless networks, backup, staff and mobile devices, software, printers and peripherals, remote access VPNs, VoIP phones, information security, web content filtering, and data warehousing
• Develop, execute and manage a departmental vision with day-to-day, annual and long-term IT plans, including a multi-year technology plan with periodic reviews
• Develop schedules and milestones to track progress of technology implementation Establish, administer and communicate policies, procedures and goals
• Ensure seamless network operations, including server maintenance, wired and wireless bandwidth maximization, connectivity, uptime and speed
• Negotiate agreements and manage relationships and contracts with IT vendors, consultants and suppliers
• Develop and manage annual IT budgets and oversee processes and implementation
• Ensure IT security, purchasing, risk management, disaster recovery, and planning processes are in place
• Maintain, test and improve the data recovery plan

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with a concentration in the fields of Information Technology/ Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field/experience
  
• Minimum of 5-7+ years of experience in the management, leading of teams, development, installation, and maintenance of information systems/infrastructure
  Will also consider architect level candidates as well
  
• 7+ years of recent experience in Microsoft based infrastructure environments (AD/Azure/Exchange/O365, etc.)

• Knowledge of provisioning, budget mgmt., resource mgmt., access mgmt., data engineering
  
• Looking for a candidate that is still very hands-on with technology but still has experience with mentoring team members, roadmaps for technology, and dealing with business applications
