Materials Handler

SNI Technology’s client located in Greeley, CO is immediately seeking to hire a Materials Handler for an exciting, short-term contract opportunity. This temp assignment is a M-F, 40 hours per week onsite position with an expected contract duration of 2 months (i.e., August 18th through October 24, 2025).

Job Summary

This position is responsible for receiving and delivering items ordered by college and moving surplus items to and from departments.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Warehouse Receiving & Campus Delivery:                                                   50% of Total Time
• Receive deliveries at Central Receiving. Delivery sizes/quantities are varied and may require a forklift.
• Use Qtrak software to scan incoming boxes. The requested information to add will be To, From, and Location.
• Inspect the delivered box/product for damage. Report any damage immediately to the delivery driver/shipping company. Follow procedures for damaged items.
• Deliver orders to the appropriate College location, as stated on the Purchase Order. The location may be on any of our campuses at the college.
• At delivery, have the employee receiving the item sign in Qtrak tablet.

Internal Processes:                                                                                                    20% of Total Time

Deliver copier paper. Requests will be received via email.

Deliver toner for Konica Minoltas. Requests will be received via email.

Pick up from Reprographics and deliver on campus.

Surplus Move and Disposal:                                                                                  20% of Total Time

Check the WebHelp system for item pickup requests.

Pick up retired or obsolete items from the department and relocate to the surplus area in the Warehouse.

Relocation of large items. Move items from/to or within departments. Facilities may help with these moves.

Other Duties as Assigned:                                                                                       10% of Total Time

Clean Warehouse and Vehicles.

Backup Mailroom.

Backup Food Pantry and Food Services deliveries.

Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED, plus one (1) year in warehousing, handling, shipping, receiving, storing, inventory, and/or distribution of goods or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
• Forklift Certification (or ability to become certified within 30 days of hire).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Possess critical thinking skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service.

Pay Rate
The pay rate for this position is $19.26 per hour during the contractual period of the assignment.
