SNI Technology’s top client located in Brighton, CO is immediately seeking to hire a talented IT Project Coordinator for an exciting full-time, 17-week contract position. Please note this position can accommodate a hybrid work environment. Fully remote work is not available for this position.
IT PROJECT COORDINATOR - CONTRACTOR
The IT Project Coordinator plays a critical role in leading and managing enterprise-wide technology projects that directly support the operational efficiency, security, and modernization of the organization. This position will provide high-level oversight of IT project portfolios, coordinate project planning methodologies, and ensure timely, cost-effective, and efficient execution of IT initiatives. The IT Project Coordinator will work with the IT Governance Committee and department leadership to ensure technology projects align with organizational goals and compliance standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (Weekly Time Allocation):
This position does not directly supervise other employees but plays a leadership role in managing IT projects and coordinating teams across departments.

COMPENSATION RANGE
The compensation for this position is in the range of $35 to $50 per hour during the 17-week contract duration of the assignment. IT PROJECT COORDINATOR - CONTRACTOR
The IT Project Coordinator plays a critical role in leading and managing enterprise-wide technology projects that directly support the operational efficiency, security, and modernization of the organization. This position will provide high-level oversight of IT project portfolios, coordinate project planning methodologies, and ensure timely, cost-effective, and efficient execution of IT initiatives. The IT Project Coordinator will work with the IT Governance Committee and department leadership to ensure technology projects align with organizational goals and compliance standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (Weekly Time Allocation):
- Lead and coordinate enterprise IT projects from initiation to deployment (25% of time).
- Serve as the point of contact for project communications and stakeholder engagement (20% of time).
- Develop and manage project plans, budgets, business process workflow, and resource allocations (15% of time).
- Ensure project deliverables align with timelines, financial constraints, and organizational goals (10% of time).
- Oversee project roles and responsibilities, ensuring accountability and efficiency (10% of time).
- Facilitate change management processes and ensure smooth technology transitions (10% of time).
- Monitor, document, and report on project performance, risks, and resolutions (10% of time).
This position does not directly supervise other employees but plays a leadership role in managing IT projects and coordinating teams across departments.

- Internal: IT staff, department heads, county IT teams, and compliance officers.
- External: vendors, technology consultants, and regulatory bodies (ensuring IT compliance).
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Technical Knowledge
- Expertise in IT project management frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, ITIL).
- Proficiency in enterprise IT infrastructure, application development, and cybersecurity.
- Strong understanding of change management and risk mitigation strategies.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, and digital collaboration tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to manage complex IT projects.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Ability to prioritize competing projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
- Ability to translate technical language into non-technical explanations for leadership and staff.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with co-workers, other County personnel, Elected Officials, other agencies, and the public.
- Must possess excellent attention to detail, initiative, time and project management, and organizational skills.
- Must be able to work independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Minimum: 2+ years of IT project management experience or business process analysis
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience managing IT infrastructure, software development, or cybersecurity projects is highly desirable.
