Professional Engineer

SNI Technology Colorado Springs, CO (Onsite) Contract to Hire
Title: Professional Engineer
Onsite/Remote: Onsite – Colorado Springs, CO
Work Hours 
•    Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and occasional nights and weekends. 
•    Overtime occasionally required and expected, often on short notice. 
Start Date: 2/10/2025
Compensation: $57.75 - $72/hr. (based on experience)

Experience: 10 - 20 years of relevant work experience

Summary 
Are you looking for a growth opportunity?  We are looking for a Professional Engineer to join our organization.. The Professional. Engineer is the primary technical point of contact for all project deliverables. The Professional Engineer’s responsibilities include developing project objectives, writing specifications, performing calculations, reviewing and selecting equipment, and supporting the creation of drawings. They will interact with all team members to perform work correctly and promptly along with promoting professional development. They will also actively manage their time to maintain efficient, effective, and accurate production within their projects. Also, the Professional Engineer will have strong communication skills and be able to accomplish the results of the project at hand. 

Knowledge and Skills Requirements 
• 10+ years of experience in related oil and gas experience. 
• Exhibit strong knowledge of industry processes and procedures. 
• ABET accredited Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. 
• PE certification or working towards. 
• High level of organizational skills. 
• Advanced user of Microsoft office suites. 

Primary Responsibilities 
• Actively participate in QA/QC to ensure consistency within the department. 
• Work with Project teams to ensure project deliverables are completed accurately and on time. 
• Clearly convey design philosophies, expectations, and timelines. 
• Coordinate regulatory, permitting, survey, and third party construction efforts. 
• Specify all engineered equipment and specialty items. 
• Perform calculations to evaluate proposed designs. 
• Evaluate design’s overall effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety. 
• Communicate design changes with key project team members. 
• Understand and apply standard engineering principles.
