SNI Technology’s client is immediately seeking to hire a talented, Network Systems & VoIP Administrator on a full-time, direct-hire basis. This position is located at the Centennial, CO headquarters. Please note this position offers remote (WFH) flexibility up to 3 days per week.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the network environment including Firewall, LAN, Wireless, VPNs, and MPLS networks.
  • Configures the network environment according to best practices
  • Recommend appropriate procurement of telecommunication services, data services, equipment, and corresponding software technologies.
  • Design voice and data systems and architecture.
  • Manage 3rd party vendors related to Network and VOIP systems, including the installation of communications hardware as needed.
  • Recommend network and infrastructure design, including research and analysis of the business’ telecommunication and network needs.
  • Evaluate network contractors’ performance for compliance with terms and conditions of contracts. Ensure timely submission of technical progress and deliverables.
  • Manage the physical, mobile, and wireless security infrastructure, looking at both internal and external threats. Perform ongoing security review, reports security breaches, distribute security information and updates as available.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, SOC 2, and company-wide security standards.
  • Manages remote access of company resources, including remote connectivity technologies such as VPNs, and the associated security for these technologies.
  • Prepare and coordinate purchase order requests, provides necessary documentation and justification for purchases above the position’s purchase limits.
  • Recognize and analyzes technical problems and processes, conduct research, summarize results, and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Establish and maintain documentation to track inventory of all telecommunication and network equipment, ensuring that hardware and software is up to date, that license and support contracts are current, and to monitor and plan for technology end of life cycles.
  • Monitor VOIP phone system and contact center performance and implement needed changes based on findings.
  • Available for after-hours maintenance and related after hours work as necessary, including production impacting updates and changes.
  • Work with the business to understand needs related to network and VOIP technology, with an emphasis on building a strong relationship with operational departments.
  • Assist with setting the department’s strategic direction to ensure that it is in line with the company’s short term and long-term goals.
  • Collaborate with other IT Infrastructure staff to conduct maintenance, carry out projects, and assist with escalated issues.

Additional Duties:

  • Available for after-hours work as needed


  • Strong understand of network routing technologies including BGP
  • Strong understanding of Firewall technologies including next generation firewalls (Cisco preferred), including advanced configuration of firewalls
  • Strong understanding of wireless networks (Cisco Meraki preferred)
  • Strong understanding of network switching including all OSI models, and the various technologies within
  • Strong knowledge of Telecommunication and VOIP environments, both on premise and in the cloud. (Genesys pure connect experience is preferred)
  • Networking technologies including VPNs, MPLS, DHCP, DNS, IPSEC, and wireless network protocols
  • Storage Area Network (SAN) device networking including ISCI
  • Solid knowledge of information technology security systems.
  • Solid knowledge of Unified Communications, including voice mail, electronic fax, email, and text.
  • Expert computer skills.
  • Expert knowledge of information technology, network and security concepts and technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of employees.


  • 7+ years administering all aspects of networks (Cisco & Meraki experience a plus)
  • 7+ years administering VOIP phone systems (experience with cloud and on-premises preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator
  • Certificates are a plus (e.g., CCNA, CCIE, etc.)
  • Degree in Computer Science, or four or more years of experience in lieu of a degree

Equipment Utilized:

  • Requires use of standard office equipment and equipment with multiple logic functions and capabilities requiring specialized training. Examples of equipment include minicomputer and mainframes.

Scope of Authority:

  • Administers technology and solutions that affect all areas of the business

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position is in the range of $74K to $115K annually + 5% annual bonus potential + full benefits. Please note your actual pay rate will be determined based upon your skills, knowledge and abilities including work experience - talk with your recruiter to learn more.
