Location:  Colorado Springs, CO
Salary:  $34.75/hr.
Contract - Hire: 4 month

Job Summary: 

Analyze user data requests and create custom report; provide technical support to application users; respond to help tickets or disseminate them to appropriate staff; submit accurate files and report to the state; create and maintain efficient SQL scripts or stored procedures; assist with setup and configuration of application; and other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions:

•   Write queries using SQL scripts or stored procedures

•  Create reports using SQL Reporting Services 

•  Create and maintain SQL Server databases and tables

•  Provide technical support for internal applications

•  Analyze user change requests and provide alternative solutions when appropriate

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Four years’ experience with Requirements gathering and documentation.
• Two years’ experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Knowledge of relational database development concepts.
• Two years’ experience writing Transact-SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Experience creating ETL processes
• Automate data transfers using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• Knowledge of an interface programming language (i.e. VB, C#).
• Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to present ideas in a business-friendly and user-friendly language.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Very strong customer service orientation.
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaboration environment.
• Recommends information technology solutions to meet the business need.

• Experience using DevOps
• Knowledge of Automated Testing

• Experience in the Health Care Industry
