Job Summary:

The Infrastructure Support Manager is established to support in planning, organization and controls all activities of infrastructure and to ensure the effective, efficient, and secure operation of various systems. Provide best of class service and support to business areas, employees, and customers.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provide employees with top quality, consistently available computer service, support training and maintenance of all computer systems used throughout the client facility.
  • Responsible for procuring, installing, and maintaining all computer hardware and software and all other products and supplies necessary to keep computer systems operable and to fulfill managements requests for computer support. Act as liaison between hardware and software suppliers and management for informational updates and problem resolution.
  • Asist in creating, maintaining, and enforcing written policies and procedures regarding operations in the IT Department and throughout the organization.
  • Compile and present for review records to determine department productivity, quality of output and cost of service.
  • Review infrastructure and provide guidance on technological advances that align with Corporate strategic goals.
  • Develop methods to continually improve results with guidance of Business and IT Managers.
  • Evaluate new equipment, software, and processes continuously, recommend changes as appropriate, and supervise their installation.
  • Manage Information Technology staff, measure and assign deliverables in support of the business.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Supervision of Helpdesk areas and ticketing resolution processes/systems.
  • Coordinate with third party vendors and core services to maintain appropriate performance and resolution process.
  • Weekly review of system performance metrics and reporting, including Helpdesk and infrastructure monitoring systems.
  • Support Network/Support/Systems teams in the development and implementation of existing or new hardware and software applications.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience in infrastructure (Network/IT Support/Systems) and infrastructure management of teams. BS in Computer Science and 5+ years as an IT manager or equivalent of 7+ years of experience in a lead role.
