Job Description


We are looking for a competent Help Desk Technician to provide fast and useful technical assistance remotely on Computer Software installations. You will answer queries on basic technical issues and offer advice to solve them.
Duties:

  • Handle support calls on the tech support line and help desk tickets related to technical support issues.
  • Handle software upgrades with customers using remote sessions.
  • Handle new software installation with customers using remote sessions.


Software being supported:

  • Microsoft SQL databases
  • Microsoft VB6 thick clients
  • Microsoft IIS .NET web applications
  • Microsoft IIS ASP web applications
  • Java Apache web applications
  • Windows file system NTFS and File share configurations


Knowledge Base:

  • Microsoft Windows Server
  • Microsoft Windows workstation OS 7 - 10
  • How to research on the Internet support issues


Ability to learn:

  • Basic SQL knowledge backup and restore databases, creating SQL use accounts and running SQL scripts.
  • IIS configurations including adding SSL certificates.
  • Java/Apache base web application configurations including adding SSL certificates.
